POWERFUL PRAYER TO COME OUT OF THE PIT AND ONTO THE ROCK!

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, I cry out to You! I have waited patiently for You, O Lord, and You have inclined Your ear unto my cry.

So, Father, bring me up out of this horrible pit, out of the miry clay! Set my feet upon the Rock, establish my goings, and establish every step that I take! Do not let me remain where You have called me out of.

Do not let me sink back into the clay from which You are delivering me. Set my feet upon solid ground, O God, and make my steps sure! Put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto my God! Let the song You place in me become a testimony of Your faithfulness, so that many shall see it and fear and shall trust in the Lord.

Blessed is the man that maketh the Lord his trust. Father, I make You my trust! I will not respect the proud, and I will not turn aside to lies. I will not put my confidence in man, in circumstances, or in what my eyes can see. My confidence is in You, O Lord! Your wonderful works, O God, are many, and Your thoughts toward me cannot be reckoned up in order unto You.

If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered! So, Father, let me remember Your goodness even while I am waiting. Let me remember Your faithfulness even while I am in the battle. Let me remember that what You have ordained cannot be overturned by what stands against me!

Sacrifice and offering You did not desire, but You have opened my ears. Therefore I say, Lo, I come! In the volume of the Book it is written of me. I delight to do Your will, O my God; Your law is within my heart. Father, let Your Word govern me. Let Your will become my delight. Let obedience rise from within me until I cannot keep silent about what You have done! I have preached righteousness in the great congregation; lo, I have not refrained my lips, O Lord, You know it.

I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart. I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation. I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation. And now, Father, do not withhold Your tender mercies from me! Let Your lovingkindness and Your truth continually preserve me.

For innumerable evils have compassed me about. They have surrounded me from every side. My iniquities have taken hold upon me, and I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of my head, therefore my heart faileth me. But You, O Lord, are my deliverer! I cannot save myself, but You can save me. I cannot deliver myself, but You can deliver me. I cannot establish myself, but You can establish me! Therefore, be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me! O Lord, make haste to help me!

Let those who seek after my soul to destroy it be ashamed and confounded together. Let those who wish evil upon me be driven backward and put to shame. Let those who say, “Aha, aha,” because of my trouble be desolate for their shame.

Not because I desire vengeance, Father, but because You are righteous, You are my Judge, and You are my Defender. Let every evil work against me fail to accomplish what it was sent to accomplish. Let every scheme that rises against Your purpose for my life come to nothing.

But let all those that seek You rejoice and be glad in You! And, Father, I seek You! Therefore I will rejoice. I will be glad in You. I will magnify Your salvation.

Let the Lord be magnified! Let the Lord be magnified in my life! Let the Lord be magnified above my circumstances, above my enemies, above my failures, above my fears, above every obstacle, above every voice that says it cannot be done! You be magnified, O God! Be greater than everything confronting me.

Be greater than everything surrounding me. Be greater than everything attempting to discourage me. Let Your name become greater and greater in my life until nothing else can compare!

For I am poor and needy, yet the Lord thinketh upon me! O God, You think upon me! You are my help! You are my deliverer! Do not tarry, O my God! Come quickly to my help! Bring me out of the pit. Bring me out of the miry clay. Set my feet upon the Rock. Establish my goings. Put a new song in my mouth. Let many see it. Let many fear. Let many trust in You.

And when You have brought me out, I will not keep silent. I will declare Your righteousness. I will declare Your faithfulness. I will declare Your salvation. I will declare Your lovingkindness and Your truth before the congregation. I will testify of what the Lord has done! For You are my help. You are my deliverer. You are my Rock. You are my salvation. And I will trust You until the answer comes. I will trust You while I wait. I will trust You while I fight. I will trust You while I endure. And I will trust You when You bring me out!

Be magnified, O Lord! In my life. In my household. In my calling. In my testimony. In everything You have ordained concerning me. Let my life become a testimony of Psalm 40 that I cried unto the Lord, and He heard me; that He brought me out of the horrible pit and out of the miry clay; that He set my feet upon a Rock and established my goings; and that He put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto my God.

I have waited for You, O Lord. Now, Lord, hear my cry. Deliver me. Establish me. Preserve me. And be magnified in me.
